Their aim is to monitor the greenhouse The purpose of the combined ACTRIS-ICOS atmospheric research infrastructure at Hyltemossa is to offer a site for studying the couplings and feedbacks between climate change, aerosol particles and the forest ecosystem. The support would provide a vital contribution to further develop the Hyltemossa environmental infrastructure as a service provider. Mycklemossen (SE-Myc, candidat Class 2 Ecosystem Station) is located in the Skogaryd catchment in south-west Sweden. The vegetation is fairly homogenous across the mire which is made up of a mosaic of drier hummocks and wetter hollows. ICOS Level2 data from the Ecosystem Station (flux data, meteorological data, soil meteorological variables, ancillary data) Location The Svartberget site (64°15′N, 19°46′E, 270 m asl) is located about 60 km west of Umeå. Within ICOS Östergarnsholm will become a combined ecosystem and oceanic station. Location The measurement site Östergarnsholm (57°26′N, 18°59′E) is located 4 km from the eastern coast of Gotland.

Michal Heliasz is the station principal investigator for the combined ICOS Atmosphere and Ecosystem station at Hyltemossa, and can be contacted regarding its data and measurements. Tobias Biermann is Hyltemossa station manager and can be contacted regarding station visits and set-up of field experiments. Within ICOS Sweden there are six Ecosystem stations: Hyltemossa , Mycklemossen , Norunda , Degerö , Svartberget , and Abisko-Stordalen . Lanna was started as an ICOS Sweden station and there is data available, but the station will not continue after 2020.

It is organized in three different components (Atmosphere, Ecosystems, Oceans) and each of them ICOS Sweden Coordination Office Department of Physical Geography and Ecosystem Science Lund University Sölvegatan 12 S-223 62 Lund.

By comparing wind speed measurements at 150 m at Hyltemossa research station (measured by ICOS Sweden) to the logarithmic wind profile and the power law wind profile for different times of the day and different time periods, no large deviations that could indicate a nocturnal jet were found.

Internship at the ICOS research station in Hyltemossa I completed my internship at the ICOS station in Hyltemossa during the summer break of 2019. ICOS is an infrastructure that measures carbon fluxes in various ecosystems all over Europe. This data is freely available to researchers and the public.
